EP 155 - It's a Calling

"ACTING IS THE SUM OF EVERYTHING YOU'VE EXPERIENCED." If you guys have been following us throughout the year, you know Brian's been trying to get Alec to watch Wonder Man for the past eight months. Because he didn't, the show got cancelled. Now he has worked to make amends by finally watching the eight episodes he was told were made for him. He was told the truth. He is sorry. EP 154 - The News of the Game(s)

YAO MING ALMOST CRIED WHEN HE SAW THE STATE OF PLAYS. As we near the final quarter of 2026, video game news and releases are starting to heat up. Between all the games trying to launch without being impacted by GTAVI, and all the footage making its way from hacked hard drives to the internet, you'd think actual showcases would have more to, well, show. Oh well, we still got a few things to ramble about. "AND I'M TAKING IT BACK." Ever since My Adventures with Superman premiered three years ago, we at Boulder Punch have been undeniably hooked, with its second season especially being one of our favorite DC things in recent memory. The past two years waiting for Season 3 have been long, but now it's finally out! While there is plenty to love, including arguably the best episode of the entire show, there are some low points that leave quite a bit to be desired. After four and a half years of trial and error, creative differences, versions tossed in the trash, and so, so much waiting, the next chapter in Peter Parker's live-action saga has finally arrived! The film is garnering mass amounts of praise and unforeseen financial success for the webhead, but what do we think of it? EP 148 - It's Over

SOON WE WILL OWN NOTHING! Last week capping off with the second season of a bad adaptation and a bad entry in a cinematic universe seemed to bode badly for this week. A lot of things have happened, and while some of it's good, most is, uhh... concerning. So, tune in as Alec and Brian dive through all the big pop culture stuff of the past week, including more on NATLA Season 2, SUPERGIRL and the DCU, the PERSONA live action Netflix series, and the new awful updates from Xbox and PlayStation, including the latter's decision to end physical discs for good!

EP 147 - Revenge is (Not) the Answer

WHAT DOES LOBO EVEN DO? After Superman got the DCU off to a (debatably) good start, many were excited to see where Kara Zor-El's first cinematic outing in forty years would take things next. Her film being adapted from a singular critically-acclaimed comic seemed to be the perfect recipe for a surefire hit. Unfortunately, both critically and commercially, that has not seemed to pass. So, what happened? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian go all in on the spoilers and questionable choices behind the fourth chapter of the DCU -- SUPERGIRL!
