Deep in the craggy mountains of Transylvania, Dracula finds himself suffering from the "summertime blues" because the bright sun keeps him trapped inside his castle while his friends are away having fun. Hoping to change his luck, he invites all his monster pals—from the Wolfman and Frankenstein to the Mummy and the Creature from the Black Lagoon—for a grand surfing party at the Black Sea. However, Dracula’s plan backfires when his guests spend all day catching waves in the sun, leaving the "allergic" vampire to mope alone with only spiders for company. Just as Dracula begins to feel completely forgotten, the observant Mummy realizes their mistake and rallies the group to make things right.
