A 2022 guest commentary in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters caught the attention of many, including us. The authors of the article argue that in the name of inclusion some speech must be censored and that such instances are examples of "consequence culture" and represent a "recalibration" and an "evolution." We disagree.
