This week on Nacho Fitness Coach, we went down a rabbit hole after hearing a clip about something most people don’t realize: many doctors receive little to no formal education on exercise or nutrition in medical school. That doesn’t mean doctors aren’t incredibly knowledgeable or valuable, but it does raise a big question about where people should actually look for guidance on lifestyle habits that impact long-term health.

We talk about how the healthcare system is largely designed to treat illness rather than prevent it, and why things like sleep, movement, hydration, and food often get overlooked until problems show up. Along the way we share personal experiences with anxiety, ER visits, parenting, and how small lifestyle changes can make a much bigger impact than people expect.
