Goblin Kwain

di Goblin Kwain

I collect first-hand paranormal encounters that I find and present them with genuine interest, casual analysis, and correlating folklore. My intention is to curate tales that highlight the aspect of human experience that I find most interesting–the otherworldly and unexplainable. For as long as there have been humans, there have been fairies, ghosts, strange animals, supernatural abilities, and stories about them.

Sesame Street screen memories, walking dolls & more puppet people

Tonight I’ll be dishing out another round of “puppet people” stories. Continuing in the footsteps of my first show on the subject I’ll be reading first-hand encounters (mostly from Reddit) where people describe seeing puppet/muppet-like creatures coming into their bedroom, interacting with them, and in some cases harming them. It’s highly strange and deeply interesting! 🟎 you can contact me at goblinkwain@gmail.com ✶ Music by j sease & goblin kwain

Witch-hares, Estonian werewolves, and satyr sightings ❧ strange animals leftovers

Tonight the focus is on shapeshifters and cryptids! This began as a follow-up/leftovers episode for my recent “strange animals” episode (https://youtu.be/ZzeA9jP8z6A?si=BF4xxbaRSxsh5sie) but expanded as I stumbled upon more and more information and stories… It’s a mix of folklore/urban legends–from witches who take the form of hares to phantom chickens–and first-hand experiences; featuring easter bunnies, satyrs and more… It’s a cozy and fun mixed bag of more strange animals and shapeshifters. Italian fairy houses & Kentucky cave goblins ✶ experiences & exploration on Liminal Earth

Tonight I’ll be reading stories from the website Liminal Earth (https://liminal.earth/), where people post their first-hand strange/paranormal experiences and include the location of the event. In addition to reading the stories, I’ll also show Google street view of the location, and in-between stories I’ll explore local legends, folklore, archaeology, and other topics as they come up. ☙ For more videos in my Liminal Earth series, click here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUuAc1Cmc1NB15Rm1oTdTU6P0yHSWTVYq&si=dPphgod1NEbUkpuv ☙ To view my source list, click here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iyEgJyRPKC94GkodiWZhnDNtMqiuhI3K/view?usp=sharing Music by goblin kwain & j sease

Easter bunnies, bipedal cats, and human-faced horses ✶ encounters with strange animals

Tonight we will be reading first-hand encounters with bizarre animals. Some of these creatures look similar to the natural animals they resemble, but something is… off. Maybe it’s the size, or that it walks on its hind-legs, or that it speaks human language… I grabbed these stories from Reddit, Your Ghost Stories, and The National Cryptid Society. In between reading the experiences, I’ll explain some folklore that relates to the sightings of these various odd creatures. The “animals” seen vary from bipedal, overall-wearing house cats, humanoid rabbits, to giant pigs; and folklore is pulled from Japan, Portugal, the Philippines, and more… Thanks for tuning in. ✶ view my source list here 🟎 you can contact me at goblinkwain@gmail.com 🟎 all music by goblin kwain

  • Candy-colored ponies, spider-human hybrids and tiny primates ❧ unusual reports from the Fairy Census

Candy-colored ponies, spider-human hybrids and tiny primates ❧ unusual reports from the Fairy Census

Tonight we will be looking at a few “unusual” reports from the Fairy Census, an ongoing academic research project conducted by Dr. Simon Young. This survey gathers anonymous first-hand experiences with fairies, but many of the submissions deviate from the modern “stereotypical” and commercially accepted image of what a fairy looks like. I’m going to read a handful of reports that are far from whimsical winged pixies; and yet the witness purposefully submitted their experience to the Fairy Census. The intention of the census is to gather data on the modern attitudes towards fairies, so what do these “unorthodox” encounters tell us about the current ideas and beliefs regarding these folkloric beings? ☙ submit to the Fairy Census here. ☙ read/download the Fairy Census here. ☙ purchase a physical copy of the Fairy Census by searching “fairy census” on Amazon. ✶ view/listen to more of my fairy videos here. ✶ view my source list.
