Because a monster nor'easter is barreling toward us, and by tomorrow afternoon, Connecticut transforms into a snow globe someone shook way too hard. Right now you're sitting at 41 degrees. That's 8 degrees above normal. Mild, quiet, almost suspicious. Here's the deal. First flakes arrive between 6 and 7 tonight along the coast, then spread inland. By midnight, it's all snow. Lows drop to the upper 20s. Sunday is when this thing explodes. Snow falls at 1 to 3 inches an hour. Winds crank to 35, maybe 55 miles an hour along the coast. Southeastern Connecticut could see gusts near 46 degrees. That's blizzard territory. Visibility drops to zero. Travel becomes flat out dangerous. Now the totals ...
