Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Wyoming Weather Podcast — it's Tuesday, February 24th. Folks, Wyoming is about to show you why we're called the Cowboy State and not the Easy Living State. We've got mountain snow piling up by the foot, valleys dodging between rain and ice. And winds strong enough to make you reconsider that morning walk. This isn't a sit back and relax kind of day. Let's start in the Tetons, where winter is dumping hard. Snow showers are already falling and won't quit until Wednesday morning. Jackson Hole could see two feet of fresh powder up high, but here's the twist.. Midday brings rain. Yes, rain in February. Then it flips back to snow overnight, which means black ice waiting for you Wednesday morning. Teton and Togwotee Passes? Near zero visibility with winds gusting to 60 miles an hour.
