On Monday the North Carolina 4th Circuit heard arguments in the ongoing battle for a seat on the North Carolina State Supreme Court, the challenger in the race, Judge Jefferson Griffin is asking that around 60,000 votes be thrown out. Earlier this month, the State Supreme Court blocked certification of the race in which the incumbent, Justice Allison Riggs holds a lead of over 700 votes.
