Governor Josh Stein has proclaimed October as NC Beer Month. The proclamation honors the craftsmanship behind North Carolina’s independent breweries, as well as the industry's impact on the state’s economy, tourism, agriculture, and community vitality. Lisa Parker, with the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss how important the craft beer industry to North Carolina.
