Kay and Elle discuss delayed gratification when it comes to birthday gifts, how quickly your 30's turn into aches and pains in the morning especially after a bottle of wine, and that men need to realize that girls dress for compliments from other girls- not for the male gaze.

In this week's book, Lena's luck certainly turned around on her birthday, and we're still not totally sure why Kyle is so "good in these situations." Also- just a reminder that all of this was a gift from her sister.

Overall, Kay and Elle both gave this ⭐⭐⭐, both wishing we got a little more from the magic!
