The Bible says in Hebrews 4:16 that we can “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence.” That means you don’t have to creep in hoping not to be noticed. You can walk right up to God knowing He welcomes you with open arms.

And in Psalm 62:8, we’re told to “pour out your hearts to Him.” Prayer isn’t about hiding your struggles or pretending you’ve got it all together. It’s about being real. Telling God exactly what’s going on in your heart — your fears, your frustrations, your tears — and trusting  ...
