In the next 24 hours., A cold front is sweeping through, unlocking thunderstorm potential across Western Washington. Puget Sound sees showers and storms between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. — that's when instability peaks. Highs reach 53 degrees. South Sound follows a similar script with storms most likely around midday, topping out at 54. Keep that umbrella handy and don't be surprised if you hear a rumble.
