Dense fog blanketed the entire state overnight, dropping visibility to a quarter mile or less in spots. That fog advisory stays in effect until 10 A.M., so take it slow if you're on the roads before mid-morning. Once it burns off, you're in for a gorgeous day. Central Virginia sees sunshine and a high near 78 degrees — that's pleasantly warm for early March. Tonight drops to 52 under clear skies. Down in Hampton Roads, partly sunny with a high near 70 degrees, cooling to 52 overnight under mostly cloudy skies.
