Once that fog burns off, the warmup kicks in fast. Western Virginia leads the charge, topping out at 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Central Virginia sits right behind at 79. Down in Hampton Roads, the coast keeps things a touch cooler — 72 with a southwest breeze at 6 to 12 miles an hour. Here's the kicker. Normal highs for early March? Upper 50s.
