Good morning. Vermont. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside right now and you'll feel 44 degrees. In early March. Yeah, you read that right. Today's bringing the kind of warmth that makes you wonder if you accidentally time-traveled to April. Highs climb into the upper 50s and low 60s statewide. Southern Vermont tops out near 55. Central Vermont hits 60. Northeast Kingdom reaches 57. That's 22 degrees warmer than normal — the kind of heat that gets sap flowing in the sugar maples. But here's the catch. Southwest winds pick up, gusting to 26 miles an hour in the south and 33 through central areas. The breeze takes a little edge off, but you'll still be ditching the heavy coat. Tonight stays mild.
