Folks, grab your coffee and your snow brush. A clipper system is sliding in fast. And snow is already spreading east. Visibilities could drop to half a mile. If you're commuting early, give yourself extra time.
Down in southern Vermont, snow flies from 5 A.M. to 10 A.M., peaking around 7 A.M. You're waking up to 13 degrees.. But it feels like 5 on your skin. That's the kind of cold that bites through your gloves. Winds swing from south to southwest around 9 A.M. Three to five inches of fresh powder by the time it wraps up. Highs climb to 31 degrees by 2 P.M.
Now push north into the central valleys. Snow rolls in from 6 A.M. to 10 A.M., also peaking around 7 A.M. You're starting at 10 degrees around 5 A.M., then warming to 38 degrees by 3 P.M. ...
