That's eight degrees below normal for late February. Today's high only climbs to 21. This is the kind of cold that makes your steering wheel feel personal. But here's what makes today interesting.. It's the calm before a sneaky little clipper system. Southern Vermont, you're first in line. Snow rolls in around 3 A.M. Tonight. The heaviest burst hits near 5 A.M. You'll wake up to 1 to 3 inches on the ground. And get this. Temperatures actually rise overnight. You're at 4 degrees around 10 P.M., then climbing to 13 degrees by morning. Snow and warming at the same time. Only February pulls that trick. Slide up through the central valleys. Your snow window is tight. Just 3 A.M. To 5 A.M. ...
