Episode notes
Good evening! I'm Aaron Jolly, and welcome to the Vermont Weather Podcast. It's Saturday, February 21st, and folks, a Nor'easter is knocking on our door.
We already picked up nearly 3 inches of fresh snow this morning. Here's the deal. That was just the appetizer. Southern Vermont, you're the main course.
Light snow starts sneaking in around 4 this afternoon down south. Highs barely touch 32 degrees. But tonight? That's when this storm gets serious. Snow becomes likely between 4 and 8, and by 7 Sunday morning you're waking up to 17 degrees. Winds swing from east to southeast around 1 A.M. By Monday, you're looking at 3 to 7 inches of new snow. Monday morning could bring an inch per hour. That's the kind of snowfall that makes your commute feel like an expedition.
Now drive north on Route 100 into central Vermont. You'll stay dry today. Enjoy it. ...
