Belief, evidence, testimony, witnesses, accusers...Jesus uses legal language in this teaching to convey a timeless truth. He is who He claims to be, John the Baptist and God the Father testify, and His works and miracles are the evidence.

But in His great grace, Jesus doesn't accuse us of our shortcomings and sin, but instead gives us His innocence through mercy and forgiveness. What an incredible reminder of God's love for us!
