Kristin Beale is an author and illustrator, who overcame a freak Jetski accident. She was left needing a wheelchair, with her friend Mark dying.

Following the accident, Kristin had to learn to do the normal daily tasks from scratch, while her friends were going to the Prom. Since then, she has written 3 books, including talking about her ordeal, and her dating life 'experiment'. She has recently written a fiction book 'Wide awake', which comes out in February 2023, and in bookstores by October!

She is also now married and has a child on the way! She is an optimist and definitely lives life with her glass half full.
