Known widely today for his work in broadcasting Pat was a player beyond his time and an influential figure in his playing days.
His latest book "Football & How to Survive it" is a memoir regarding the second half of his playing career and into the boardroom. From the boardroom at Motherwell to dealing with Cantona's kung-fu kick as PFA Chairman.
