Its taken a while to get to the topic we are discussing in this episode, the this show is about Separation and Divorce - which is not only a topic that directly affects 40% or women in Europe, but in the 12 years since divorce was legalised in Malta, the islands have seen a total of 4,472 couples divorcing… tallying up to an average of one a day. This show is brutally honest about all that goes with ending a relationship that was meant to last forever. The grief, the trauma, the depression, despair, disappointment, anger, recovery, rediscovery and ultimately finding peace and moving forward. Joining Host Trudy Kerr are three amazing women who have a great deal to share about their separation and divorce journeys and their remarkable resilience; Francesca Fenech Conti is the founder of Women for Women and a women’s empowerment icon in Malta. Fran has already joined us on The SHE Word in Season 3, and specially chose to share her divorce journey as a way to empower other women in similar positions. Sarah Bajada is TV presenter & book author, Sarah is also a mum, healthy lifestyle entusiast as well as committed to empowering other women who are facing challenges. Her separation journey started bang in the middle of COVID when she was battling post natal depression. Monika Schembri is also a hero and inspirational women - a breast cancer survivor, single but proud mum of three, Monika has a passion for sharing the positive - and openly stats that there IS life after separation.
