JSPC Rams Record After Game: 7 Wins 3 Losses
Game Recap: Jon Minnehan takes kickoff back 90 yards in first quarter for touchdown after Denison had scored quickly. Matt Lautner rushed for 100 yards total and a 2nd quarter touchdown. Zach Fox returns interception for score in 3rd quarter in the “who woulda thunk it” play.
Denison QB Eric Wiebers had thrown 3 interceptions his entire season, throws 4 INT against the vaunted Rams defense as the Rams upset the #3 ranked Monarchs and set up a showdown at Merrill field in Harlan, Iowa 5 days later against the undefeated and 2 time defending state champion Harlan, Cyclones.
