It’s been nearly 300 years since the catastrophic collapse of 21st Century society. The world has changed and broken in innumerable ways, but life goes on. Orion is living a double life in the wetlands where humans once reigned. Rue is working a dead-end job in a city clinging to the past. Their lives are marked by the ongoing conflict between their respective homes. But when a strange new disease begins popping up in wild forests and urban gardens alike, the two of them must tolerate each other long enough to find a cure.
