We're sitting at 83 degrees under mainly clear skies, which is a full 52 degrees warmer than our usual March high. It's stifling out there, folks. But here's the thing: the atmosphere is loading up. A Tornado Watch is active until midnight for the Panhandle. We're officially in the busy season.
Down along the Gulf Coast, tonight stays mild and mostly cloudy. You'll only drop to about 70 degrees, with southeast winds staying busy at 15 miles an hour. Friday, you climb back to 82. Just a heads up—showers and thunderstorms become possible after 3 P.M. Rain chances linger into Friday night with a low near 71.
