Folks, here's the deal. That cold front that blew through? It's rewriting the whole script tonight. South Texas hit 83 degrees around 35 degrees P.M. By 35 degrees A.M. tomorrow? 44 degrees. That's a 40 degree nosedive in about twelve hours. The kind of drop that makes your thermostat question its life choices.
And fire danger is no joke right now. Red Flag Warnings are flying across South and Central Texas. Humidity's cratering into the teens. North winds gusting to 35 degrees, even 30 miles an hour. One spark and dry grass turns into a headline. No outdoor burning tonight. Period.
Let's take a drive. Down in the Valley, Laredo and McAllen are still clinging to the warmth, but tonight that wind chill drops it to 37 degrees. Bring the pets inside. ...
