Down in South Texas, it's basically summer. You're seeing 82 degrees with north winds pushing 12 to 21 miles an hour. That breeze is the only thing keeping it honest. Tonight stays balmy near 70. Slide over to the Gulf Coast and you're still feeling 78 degrees. A slight chance of showers, but most of you stay dry. Overnight lows barely dip into the upper 60s. Perfect patio weather if you ask me. Now drive north and watch that thermometer drop like your phone battery at a music festival. Central Texas lands at a comfortable 73 degrees. Gusty winds from 15 to 20 miles an hour, though. Tonight cools into the mid 50s. Not bad at all. But North Texas? You're the odd one out at ...
