And honestly, I don't blame you if you kicked off the covers. In the next 24 hours. We're running almost 52 degrees warmer than normal for early March. And today we're gunning for records. Middle Tennessee woke up at 64 under gray skies. A few showers and rumbles might roll through north of I-40 this morning, then we break into partly sunny skies. By afternoon, you hit 79 degrees — that's knocking on the door of Nashville's record high. Tonight drops to 60 under partly cloudy skies. West Tennessee sits at 66 right now. Showers and storms drift through until midday, then we dry out. High reaches 79. Tonight stays mild at 63 with partly cloudy skies. East Tennessee starts cooler at 54, but the mountains ...
