Christina Welzer is a Korean-American interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, where she is currently a member of Flower Shop Collective, a studio and art hub that cultivates the ideas of emerging artists working towards more equitable futures. Her work addresses the conflict and connection between beauty and rage, and is inspired by the practice of burying loud, ugly emotions beneath a smooth, sleek surface.

All projects are centered around a process-oriented, illustrative core that join to create hypnotic, hybrid experiences.
