The civil engineering student went on to win the 2022 National USports championship in the 1500m and the 3000m and was two-time athlete of the year at the University of Western Ontario. After that, her running career took off leading to representing Canada world championships, Pan Am Games, World Cross Country Championships... and the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
