Good morning. Puerto Rico. I'm Michael Nally. If you stepped outside this morning, you already felt it. Those scattered showers rolled through overnight and dropped a quick tenth of an inch across San Juan and the northern coast. The island woke up to 75 degrees with breezy easterly winds doing their thing. Here's your day. Metro San Juan climbs to 81 degrees with scattered showers continuing through the afternoon. East winds gust to 24 miles an hour, keeping things brisk. Those showers peak around 6 P.M. With a 40 percent chance. Tonight drops to 75 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Now head south. Ponce and the southern coast hit 88 degrees — seven degrees warmer than the metro. Isolated showers pop up mid-afternoon around 3 P.M., but most of the day stays sunny. Tonight cools to 72 degrees.
