That steady breeze you're feeling? It's out of the east. And it's not going anywhere. In fact, it's about to make things interesting.
In the next 24 hours. Metro San Juan sits at 75 degrees right now with rain moving in. Those east winds are gusting to 23 miles an hour, so if you've got anything loose on the patio, now's the time to tie it down. Rain rolls through between 6 P.M. and early morning — expect a quarter to half inch. Friday brings partly sunny skies and a high near 81 degrees, but showers stick around through the day.
Head south and you're looking at 73 degrees tonight with just isolated showers. Friday heats up fast — you'll hit 89 degrees under mostly sunny skies before scattered showers pop up after noon. Winds stay gentler here, around 7 to 18 miles an hour.
