Peak chance hits around 9 A.M. this morning, then they taper off. You'll climb from 75 degrees at 7 A.M. to 81 degrees by noon. East winds steady at 10 to 20 miles an hour, gusting to 20 around midday. Tonight holds at 75 degrees with lingering showers. Thursday brings another high of 81 with scattered rain. Head south and the heat cranks up. Southern Puerto Rico hits 88 degrees around 1 P.M. — that's serious warmth. Showers develop 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. with a 30 percent chance.
