In this session, Joe speaks to the miraculous change that occurs when we allow a higher power to lift us from the depths of despair. “And the one who did it for me wants to do it for you, or I wouldn’t be here because I don’t get sent out to treat hangnails. I only get to treat the truly hopeless. That’s why I know I have nothing to do with it. My sole qualification is I ended up on a scrap heap not quite dead. And then this power came, picked me up off that scrap heap, and raised me to a level of life better than the best I’ve ever known, and I had zip to do with it.”
