“How many of you thought you were slick? I’m pulling it off. I keep it on the down low. They don’t know that I do this. Nor are we afraid of disclosing our alcoholism on the theory that it may cause financial harm. My alcoholism may cause financial harm. My disclosure of it to someone I harmed because of my addictive behavior will not. And even if it does, it’s for a purpose.”
