Join Joe McDonald as he explores Step 2 AA from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, focusing on overcoming prejudices and embracing spiritual growth. “So many of us have been so touchy that even a casual reference to spiritual things made us bristle with antagonism.”

Joe explains, “It’s natural for people to bristle because of their own prejudice, so I’ve got to find a way in the spirit to approach them the way I would like to be approached if the role was reversed. This sort of thinking had to be abandoned. Though some of us resisted, we found no great difficulty in casting aside such feelings.”

Joe’s discussion emphasizes the importance of taking captive the thought, stopping the loop, and making conscious efforts to improve collective wellness.
