In 2 Chronicles 13 we discuss King Abijah, a short lived king of Judah. It says that Abijah followed the ways of Rehoboam and was not fully devoted to the Lord. Despite the fact that Abijah may have been half hearted in his personal walk with the Lord, he knows that Judah has the true way of worship, and he clearly points out the northern faults to them. The result is a huge slaughter against Israel losing half a million soldiers.
The Lord’s nature is such that he listens to the prayers of weak believers too. It’s not only those of strength he hears.
