Uzziah, also known as Azariah, 10th Monarch of Judah

Zechariah, 14th king of Israel

Shallum, 15th king of Israel

Menahem, 16th king of Israel

Pekahiah, 17th king of Israel

Pekah, 18th king of Israel

Jothan, 11th monarch of Judah

In this chapter we discuss not only these kings, but the growing Assyrian force in the north, and mention the ministry of Jonah which occurred at the beginning of this period, plus the meaning of some of the names of these men.
