Ushering in a New Beginning (The Story of Samuel)

Happy New Year loves!! Welcome back to Our Favorite Bible Stories! As it is a new year, it is only fitting that we discuss the new things God did in the Bible! So today, we are talking about Samuel, or more specifically Hannah, his mother. Hannah was facing opposition from all sides: her husband has another wife, she's barren, and oh yeah, that other wife HATES her! Hannah just can't catch a break so she brings her pain to the Lord, and guess who hears her ("spoiler alert" It's God!) And He does not just hear, but He answers her in a special way (a way that changed all of Israel for the better). So, join me as we discuss waiting, opposition, promises, and faithfulness!
