And that's just the beginning, today's bringing record-challenging heat across the Garden State. Moving on. Dense fog is hugging the coast this morning, especially down in Atlantic City and Cape May. Visibility's down to a quarter mile in spots, so take it slow if you're driving near the shore before 10 A.M. Once that burns off, sunshine takes over statewide. Temperature-wise. Now for the temperatures — and this is where it gets interesting. Up north around Newark, you're climbing to 76 degrees, while central Jersey hits 78. Down south along the coast?
