S2 Episode 5- The first part of this episode includes an interview of Stella Scholl Platz on 7/27/1976 by C. Herb Skoog and Fred Oheim. The second part of this episode includes an interview of Franziska Dittlinger Liebscher on 3/13/1977 by C. Herb Skoog and Fred Oheim. They both talk about the early years of the 20th century. The story that connects them in the brief stop of Theodore Roosevelt in New Braunfels. Both ladies were there for an unannounced train stop of the President. Roosevelt was serenaded, poems were read and his body guards for the day were the "Jolly Rough Riders."
