Mark takes us through some of the arguments for and against including this passage in the Bible, and reminds us of three important lessons encapsulated in the gospel. Firstly, it is all too easy for us to condemn others without first considering ourselves. Secondly, sin is always serious and has consequences. And thirdly, justification is always serious and has consequences.
