It is sports day at school, and Maya is excited to run the race.

She stands at the starting line next to her friend Kofi, who is fast and loves running just like her. Maya feels butterflies in her tummy as she gets ready to do her best. When the race begins, Maya runs as fast as she can… but at the finish line, something unexpected happens.
