Central Mississippi hits 82 degrees this afternoon under partly sunny skies. South winds at 5 to 10 miles an hour keep things moving. There's a quick shot at thunderstorms around noon, but most of us stay dry. Tonight drops to 64 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Down on the Gulf Coast, you peak at 72 degrees around noon before things cool slightly. Southeast winds around 10 miles an hour add a little breeze.
