It's a classic early March standoff where winter and spring can't decide who's in charge. We're sitting at 39 degrees under a thick blanket of gray—the same temp we hit overnight. But don't let the quiet fool you. This is just the calm before the weather gets interesting. We're seeing a massive temperature split statewide right now. Western Maryland is already waking up to 66 degrees—yes, you heard that right—while Baltimore and Central Maryland are hovering in the low 50s, wrapped in dense fog. That fog is stubborn.
