This week we are entering into the first month of the Hebrew religious calender year, it is the Month of Nisan and begins Saturday March 29. It is the month in which God spoke to Moses and said in Exodus 12:1-2, “ And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, ‘This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.’”The new season is upon us now and as we are in the last week of Adar , God is preparing us to dwell in his strength and power in our limited capacity before crossing over into the new season. The emphasis this week comes from Psalms 16:1-11 which reads, “Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. “ In His presence is fullness of joy!We are called to rest in His presence this week so we can cross over to victory as we exit Egypt and enter the Promised Land. We are in the last 2 weeks of Month of Adar as we get ready for the new religious calender year of Nisan beginning Saturday March 29. God is releasing favor to His people as He increases our faith for the journey ahead. He is cleansing and restoring our hearts to a place of purity and holiness as He prepares us to cross over into the new year. Areas in your life that need restoration He is now revealing and covering! This is a time of trust and releasing things to Him! Psalm 51:10-12 reads, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” God is strengthening our souls to carry more of His presence for the advancement ahead. Favor is a key to operate in just as Esther did before the King! Her faith was revealed in a favor that opened doors for her and the King offered her His scepter. Esther 5:2 reads , “And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.” God is preparing you for more and needs you to be easy with an increased faith capacity and favor for kingdom advancement. He is also restoring you in your faith and giving you a greater measure for the call in your life ahead. Continue to allow Him to purify you in the midst of all these next few weeks! This is the month of joy so enjoy the releasing of all things to Him as you give yourself and your faith over as an offering to the King! Be ready for sudden shifts in moving homes, jobs, relationships, churches, etc. as we are entering into the last 2 weeks of the religious calendar year before Nisan begins on Saturday March 29! This week God is reorganizing and restructuring us in our purpose and destiny! We are approaching the Feast of Purim this week on Thursday March 13- Friday March 14. This is a special feast in Jerusalem where Esther is remembered for standing for her nation against the evil annihilation of her people being planned by Haman ! This is a time God is calling us to stand up for our spheres of influence and impact those He is calling us to defend! In order to strengthen ourselves during this time we need to remember our identity in Christ and dwelling in His presence. In order to heighten awareness of dwelling in His presence we need to focus on “simplicity” of devotion to Christ! 2 Corinthians 11:3,” But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” Then as we focus on Him , He will position us for an impartation of His oil and anointing to move us into the fullness of promotion in this season! Just as Esther had to fast and pray and call the people to get ready for the next move of God so must we focus on Him! As we do this God says “He is sending us out! “ Acts 13:2-3, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
