"The potency of cultural exchange preserves ideas, preserves cultures, preserves humanity," says Peter Hay, co-director and co-founder of PROArtes Mexico, an organization that facilitates cultural exchange between the United States and Mexico. Since 2018, Hay and his wife, Stephanie Garcia, have done the thorny work of consulting and managing the legal and logistical work of international artistic and cultural exchange.
