Good afternoon. Illinois. I'm Aaron Jolly. Folks. Illinois is basically two different states today. A cold front is dragging its heels across the northern half, dragging some Canadian air back in. Meanwhile, high pressure is building overhead down south. That's creating a wild temperature split you can feel the moment you step outside. In the next 24 hours. Here's the setup. Up north, you're stuck in the gray with temperatures hovering around 33 degrees. It feels raw. but look downstate? Central Illinois is basking in 56 degrees sunshine. That's a 20-degree swing from top to bottom. Let's take a trip through the regions. In Chicagoland, you've got a chilly day on deck. Highs top out near 35 degrees.
