Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, if you stepped outside today and thought you landed in the wrong month. You aren't alone. A deep low pressure system spinning over Canada is pulling a massive ribbon of unseasonably warm air straight into the Midwest. We're talking temperatures that feel more like late April than late February. but here's the catch. That warmth comes with a cost. The air is bone dry. and the wind is howling. In the next 24 hours. That creates a serious problem west of Interstate 55. A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 6 P.M. With southwest winds gusting to 35 miles an hour and humidity sitting around 25 percent, any spark in those dormant fields could take off running. Please hold off on any outdoor burning today.
