Folks, winter just remembered it still has a job. That dusting of snow overnight? Just a warm up act. The real show starts this afternoon.
Chicagoland, you're up first. Snow showers roll in around 4 P.M. Accumulations stay under half an inch. But the wind is the villain here. Northwest gusts hit 20 to 25 miles an hour. By 5 A.M. Monday, wind chills make it feel like 12 degrees. The kind of cold that finds every zipper gap. Snow lingers until 3 A.M., so Monday's commute could be slick.
